QuikTrip and VMLY&R wanted to promote QT Snackles in a memorable, tongue-in-cheek way by using familiar sitcom tropes. The creative angle was to portray Snackle as the snack that “always steals the show.” VMLY&R sought out Paul for his trademark cheeky comedic style, and they collaborated on three spots, each of which referenced a different sitcom: Seinfeld, Full House, and Saved by the Bell.

The biggest logistical challenge during production was how to time and rig the scene in which the car crashed through the wall in the Full House spot. Paul worked closely with the stunt crew to ensure the desired effect was nailed (and comedic as well).
