In this special one-off performance, audiences around the world watched Machinedrum perform music from his latest album “A View of U” within an immersive audiovisual performance.
This live streamed experience leverages a 4D shooting system that allows for audio-visual works that goes back and forth between the real and the virtual world. Since existing Volumetric Capture systems cannot be used in a real-time setting, a custom Volumetric Capture system was developed by Daito’s tech incubator Rhizomatiks, that doesn’t require a green-screen environment or a complex setup. This allows for more flexibility in production and can be applied to a live concert, as well as pre-shot content.
