Goodby, Silverstein & Partners wanted to ring in the return of Oktoberfest (along with Sam Adams’ signature Octoberfest beer) with a high-energy spot that honored the fun and celebration of this annual event. GS&P came to Win with this idea following their collaboration on the prior YCFB round, “YCFB Gets Vaccinated.”
Win and GS&P refined the jokes and visual gags together and landed on a variety of moments that would give the viewer a comprehensive sense of what Oktoberfest is all about, as well as showcase YCFB’s trademark ‘Boston-ness.’
