Stefan Hunt is a visionary filmmaker and artist with a flair for the surreal. Blending mixed media, genre-bending storytelling, and a deep curiosity for life’s big questions, he crafts work that challenges perspectives and sparks wonder.

Stefan’s wild filmmaking journey kicked off in 2006 when he grabbed his camera, bought an ice cream truck, and road-tripped through all 50 states to shoot his first documentary. Since then, he’s directed award-winning documentaries, commercials, music videos, and short films, collaborating with some of the world’s biggest brands. His accolades include a BAFTA, Webby, ARIA, and Flickerfest awards, along with nominations from UKVMA, Raindance, and Vimeo’s Best of the Year.

In 2017, Stefan launched his most daring project yet: We’re All Going To Die. This multimedia sensation—featuring a book, short film, and sold-out art festival—has toured Australia, New Zealand, and the U.S., delivering a powerful message to “fear less, live more” through humor, vibrant visuals, and the universal truth of death.

When he’s not behind the camera, Stefan’s illustrations are turning heads—from books and billboards to clothing lines and trams. His art is everywhere, just like his playful, thought-provoking creativity.
