David Wain is a legendary writer, director, actor and comedian. His feature films include Wet Hot American Summer, Role Models, Wanderlust, They Came Together and A Futile and Stupid Gesture.
On television, Wain co-created, directed, and co-starred in The State, Childrens Hospital, Stella, two Wet Hot American Summer mini-series for Netflix, and the action-comedy series Medical Police. More recently, he directed all six episodes of Peacock’s Mr. Throwback starring NBA legend Stephen Curry. He’s acted in dozens of movies & TV shows including Broad City, Portlandia, Bob’s Burgers and his own web series Wainy Days. On the commercial front, Wain has directed campaigns for Trident, Liberty Insurance, and the San Diego Film Fest.
He also rocks out as the drummer for the Middle Aged Dad Jam Band.
