This inspiring film for Gillette tells Shaquem Griffin's story. Shaquem was born with a condition that led to his left hand being amputated when he was four, yet excelled at football throughout high school and college with his twin brother. In 2018, Shaquem was drafted by the Seattle Seahawks.
The campaign out of Grey NY focuses not just on Shaquem, but on his father and brother too, and the collective efforts they all made throughout Shaquem's life to get him where he is today.
In an interview on CBS Sports Radio, Shaquem spoke about his reaction to seeing the commercial: "When they say ‘Your Best Never Comes Easy,’ it was exactly that and it’s cool to see the outcome of the story and the commercial. Even when I saw it I got chills from it because it reminded me what it took to get to this point."
